Pictured is the famous order of pupusas that Maya makes fresh every day. What I forgot to take a picture of are these little appetizers that are called garnachas. They were essentially thicker corn tortillas topped with fresh carrot/cabbage slaw and cheese. They were my favorite item on the menu. They come in orders of 3, 6 or 9. The service is a bit slower because I went on a Sunday when everyone came from church which caused a lunch rush but once you get your food, you even forgot about the wait. They also have great juices if you’re in jicama or nearly any other southern American vegetable. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Such a lovely cute restaurant! Really homey feel with friendly service and authentic food. They took quite a while for our to-go order (finished my sangria and order still wasn’t ready). The quesadilla looked more like a open face sopa (with beetroot?) . I’m not sure if they gave me a wrong order but everything tasted delicious so I didn’t bother calling back. Prices was reasonable. Hope to return for a dine in experience next time.
